Ingredients:
  1. Baby potato - 400 gm
  2. Chopped onion - 1 medium size.
  3. Tomato-Garlic-Ginger paste - 5 tbsp
  4. Chopped tomato - 1 medium size.
  5. Green peas - 1/2 cup
  6. Dry red chilli - 1 no.
  7. Cumin seed - 1/2 tsp
  8. Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  9. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  10. Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  13. Bay leaf - 1 no.
  14. Chopped coriander leaves
  15. Oil - 5 tablespoons.

 

Method:
  1. Wash the baby potatoes thoroughly under the running water, then prick the baby potatoes with the help of a toothpick and fork.
  2. Heat 5 tablespoons of oil in a pan then add 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1/4 tsp of red chilli powder and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
  3. Stir it well, add boiled potatoes and fry it for 5 min on medium flame.
  4. After 5 min takes out the potatoes from the pan.

  5. Add 1 bay leaf, 1 dry red chilli and 1/2 tsp of cumin seed to the remaining oil. Saute for a few seconds.

  6. Add 1 medium size chopped onion and fry it for 2 min on medium flame.

  7. Meanwhile, prepare a paste with a medium-size tomato, 5 garlic clove and 1-inch ginger.
  8. After 2 min adds the ground paste, 1 medium size chopped tomato, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin seed, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon of red chilli powder and salt to taste.

  9. Mix it well. Cover the pan with a lid and cook it for 4-5 min on medium flame. Stir it occasionally.

  10. After 5 min opens the lid and checks it once, add 1/2 cup of green peas and mix it well.

  11. Now add fried baby potatoes and mix it well with the spices then cook it for 4-5 min on medium flame. Keep stirring in between otherwise, it will stick to the bottom of the pan.

  12. After 5 min adds 1/2 cup of water and stirs it well. In this time add 1 tablespoon of sugar and mix it well.

  13. Cover it and cook it for 8-10 min on medium flame. Stir it occasionally.

  14. After 10 min adds 1/2 tsp of garam masala powder and chopped coriander leaves. mix it.

  15. Turn off the flame and serve it with roti/luchi or paratha.
