Dry Chili Chicken

Dry Chili Chicken

Ingredients:
  1. Chicken cut into small pieces -(300 gram)
  2. Capsicum cut into square shape -(1 medium size)
  3. Onion cut into square shape -(1 medium size)
  4. Chopped Garlic clove -(1 tbsp)
  5. Green chili cut into small pieces -(4 pc)
  6. Chopped spring onion -(1/3 cup)
  7. Crushed black pepper -(1/3 tsp)
  8. Tomato ketchup -(1 tbsp)
  9. Soya sauce -(1 tsp)
  10. Vinegar -(1 tsp)
  11. Rice flour -(2 tbsp)
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Oil for frying and cooking
  14. Cornflour -(1 tbsp)
  15. Maida/ All purpose flour -(1 tbsp)
  16. Red chili sauce -(1 tbsp)
Method:
  1. At first, cut onion and capsicum into cube shape.
Marinate and fry the Chicken:
  1. Marinate the chicken with corn flour, rice flour, all purpose flour, black pepper powder,soy sauce, tomato ketchup and salt to taste. (Here I don't use any egg, if you wish then crack an egg and mix it well.)
  2. Now mix all ingredients very well and keep it aside for 30 min.
  3. After 30 min heat sufficient oil in a pan.
  4. Once the oil is heat then drop marinated chicken pieces one by one
  5. and fry it on medium flame until turns golden brown.
  6. When chicken turns golden brown then take it out from the pan, keep it aside.
Making Gravy:
  1. After that, in remaining oil add chopped garlic, saute for few seconds.
    Then add chopped green chilli, onion, capsicum and spring onion, fry it for 1 min on high flame.
  2. Now, decrease the flame on low and add soya sauce, tomato ketchup,red chilli sauce, vinegar and a pinch of salt. (Here I don't use corn flour, if you wish then then take a bowl and add 1 tbsp of corn flour in it and add some water, whisk it well.
  3. Then add the mixture in the gravy and cook 2 min on high flame.)
  4. Mix it well and cook it for 1 min.
  5. Then add frien chicken and mix it well.
  6. Cook it for 2 min on high flame.
  7. Then turns off the flame and serve it with rumali roti, paratha, naan, fried rice or chowmein.
