How to make Ghugni

Ghugni
  1. Dry Peas/Yellow Peas/Matar -(250 gram)
  2. Onion Paste -(1 big size)
  3. Chopped Tomato -(1 medium size)
  4. Ginger-Garlic-Green chili Paste -(1 tbsp)
    Chopped Coconut =(1 tbsp)
  5. Cumin seeds =(1 tsp)
  6. Cumin Powder -(1 tsp)
  7. Turmeric Powder -(1 tsp)
  8. Garam masala powder -(1 tsp)
  9. Kashmiri red chili powder -(1 tsp)
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Oil -(3 tbsp)
Method:
  1. At first, soak yellow peas/Matar at overnight.
  2. Then, wash it thoroughly.
  3. Boiled it with some salt in a pressure cooker with 3 to 4 whistle on medium flame.
  4. Heat a pan and add some oil, heat it well.
  5. Then add cumin seed and fry it for few second.
  6. Now add onion paste and fry it for 3 min on medium flame.
  7. After that, add ginger-garlic-green chili paste, fry it for 2 min.
  8. Now add chopped tomato, salt to taste,
  9. Then add turmeric powder, kashmiri red chilli powder and cumin powder,
  10. Mix it well and cook it for 3 min on medium flame.
  11. Next, add chopped coconut and fry it for 2 min.
  12. After that, add boiled matar, mix it well.
  13. Cover and cook it for 5 min on medium flame.
  14. After 5 min open the lid and check it once.
  15. then add some garam masala powder and mix it well.
  16. Turns off the flame and serve it with luchi,ruti or paratha.
