How to Luchi

  1. All purpose flour/Maida -(1 cup)
  2. Oil - 3 tbsp
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Water as required.
  5. Oil for frying


  1. ময়দা - (১ কাপ)
  2. তেল - ৩ টেবিল চামচ
  3. লবন স্বাদমতো
  4. জল প্রয়োজন মতো
  5. ভাজার জন্য তেল
  1. At first, take a large mixing bowl.
  2. Then add 1 cup of all-purpose flour/maida.
  3. Now add salt to taste and tbsp of oil in it.
  4. Combine it well.
  5. After that add little amount of water at a time and make a medium  consistency dough.
  6. Knead the dough for 10 min.
  7. Now cover it and leave it for 15 min.
  8. After 15 min knead it once.
  9. Now make equal size dough balls.
  10. Apply little oil and roll the dough balls into luchi shape.
  11. Meanwhile, heat sufficient oil in a pan.
  12. Once the oil is heated well then drop one luchi at a time.
  13. Fry it for few seconds.
  14. Press it gently to puff the luchis.
  15. Serve it with alur dum/sada alur chorchori.
