Moong Dal Pakora
  1. Moong Dal/Yellow Lentil - 1 cup
  2. Ginger - 1/2 inch
  3. Green chillies - 
  4. Chopped onion - 1 small sized
  5. Chopped coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  9. Dry mango powder - 1 tbsp
  10. Oil for frying
  1. At first, In a mixing take moong dal and wash it thoroughly.
  2. Then add sufficient water in moong dal and soak it for 3 to 4 hours.
  3. After that, put the soaked dal along with a small piece of ginger and green chillies in a mixer grinder add little water and grind it into a thick smooth paste.
  4. Now take out the paste in a mixing bowl and add chopped onion along with chopped coriander leaves, salt to taste,Kashmiri red chilli paste, turmeric powder and dry mango powder.
  5. Mix all the ingredients very well and keep it aside.
  6. Heat a pan and add sufficient oil in it.
  7. Let the oil heat properly.
  8. Once the oil has become hot then drop a small portion of the batter in hot oil and fry it on medium flame till it turns golden brown.
  9. After 2 to 3 min flip the pakoras gently.
  10. Once it turns nice golden brown then take it out from the pan.
  11. Repeat the same process for remaining batches.
  12. Serve it with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
