How to make Pomfret Dopiaza
Ingredients:
  1. Pomfret Fish - (4 pc)
  2. Onion Paste -(1 large size)
  3. Onion Large Slice -(1 Big Size)
  4. Ginger-Garlic- Green Chilli Paste -(2 tbsp) {Ginger=1 inch,Garlic Clove=10, Green Chilli
    =6}
  5. Cumin Powder -(1 tsp)
  6. Turmeric Powder -(1 tsp)
  7. Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder -(1 tsp)
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Garam masala powder -(1 tsp)
  10. Water as required
Method:
  1. Clean the fish and wash it thoroughly under running water.
  2. Give small cuts on both sides of fishes.
  3. In the fish adds 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder and 1/2 tsp of salt,marinate it well and keep it aside.
  4. Add 1/4 cup of oil in a pan and heat it well.
  5. Once the oil heat properly the add fish one by one and fry it for 2 to 3 min on both sides.
  6. After frying take out the fish and keep it aside.
  7. In the remaining oil add diced onion and fry it for 1 min, then take out for the pan.
  8. Now add onion paste and fry it for 3 min on low flame.
  9. Then add ginger-garlic-green chili paste and fry it for 2 min on medium flame.
  10. Now add one chopped tomato, cumin powder, turmeric powder, kashmiri red chili powder and salt to taste. Mix it well and fry it for 3 min on medium flame.
  11. After that add required water and stir it well, then add fried onion.
  12. Boil it for 2 min on high flame.
  13. After 2 min add fried fish ,cover it and cook it for 4 min on low flame.
  14. After that add garam masala powder and mix it well.
  15. Turn off the flame and serve it with steamed rice.
