Soya Paneer-er Dalna

  1.  Oil - 6 tbsp
  2. Boiled soya chunks - 1 cup
  3. Chopped potato - 1 large sized
  4. Paneer cubes - 200 gm
  5. Dry red chilli - 2 no.
  6. bay leaf - 1 no.
  7. cumin seed - 1/2 tsp
  8. Chopped onion - 1 large sized
  9. Giner-Garlic-Green chilli paste - 2 tbsp
  10. Chopped tomato - 1 large sized
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  13. Cumin powder - 1.2 tsp
  14. Garam masala  powder - 1/2 tsp
  15. Water as required
Method :
  1. Boiled soya chunks and drain out the water, keep it aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and fry boiled soya chunks for 5 min on low flame.     
  3. After 5 min take out the fried soya chunks, keep it aside
  4. Fry diced potato and paneer ( do not fry paneer too much, otherwise, it will get hard).
  5. Add oil in the same pan and heat it well.
  6. Now add cumin seed, bay leaf and dry red chilli and fry it for few seconds.
  7. Then add chopped onion and saute it for 3 min on medium flame.
  8. After 3 min adds ginger-garlic - green chilli paste, chopped tomato, salt to taste, turmeric powder and cumin powder. Mix it well and cook it for 4 min on medium flame.
  9. After that add fried potato and soya chunks, cook it for 3 min on medium flame.
  10. Now add water as required and stir it well.
  11. Add fried paneer and garam masala powder, mix it well.
  12. cover it for 5 min on medium flame.
  13. After 5 min check it once, if it is done then turn off the flame
  14. Serve with steamed rice, roti, paratha.
