Tandoori Chicken

Tandoori Chicken
  1. Chicken cut into big pieces- (700 gram)
  2. Curd -( 2 tbsp)
  3. Turmeric Powder -(1/2 tsp)
  4. Kashmiri red chili powder - (1 tsp)
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Oil - ( 1 tbsp)
  7. Butter -( 1 tbsp)
  8. Ginger- Garlic Paste - ( 1 tbsp)
  9. Green Chilli Paste -( 1 tbsp)
  10. A small piece of Charcoal
  11. Lemon juice -( 1 tbsp)
  1. At first, give a small cuts into chicken pieces.
For first marination:
  1. Take the chicken pieces in a mixing bowl.
  2. Then add whisk curd, turmeric powder, kashmiri red chili powder, lemon juice and salt.
  3. Marinate it well.
  4. Keep marinated chicken in refrigerator for 1 hour.
For second Marination:
  1. After 1 hour take it out from refrigerator.
  2. Now add ginger -garlic paste and green chili paste.
  3. Mix it well,keep aside for 30 min.
For making tandoori:
  1. Now turn on the flame and put a pan on it.
  2. Then add some butter and oil in it, let it heat.
  3. Once the oil and butter are heat then add marinated chicken pieces.
  4. Cover and cook it for 6 min on medium flame.
  5. After 6 min gently flip the chicken pieces and fry other side for 2 to 3 min without cover on medium flame.
  6. After 3 min chicken pieces are cooked well, you see the brown spots on both sides of the chicken pieces.
  7. Now take out the chicken pieces from the pan and keep it in a large bowl.
  8. Place a small bowl inside the chicken pieces.
  9. Meanwhile heat a small piece of charcoal on gas stove.
  10. Once the charcoal is heat then take out the charcoal and place it into the small bowl.
  11. Add some butter on the charcoal and close the lid for 5 to 6 min.
  12. Now chicken pieces are absorbing the smokey flavor of the charcoal.
  13. After 5 min opens the lid and serve the tandoori chicken with salad and green chutney.
