How to make tawa pulao
Tawa pulao
  1. Cooked basmati rice - 2 cups
  2. Boiled chopped potatoes - 2 medium-sized
  3. onion - 1 medium-sized
  4. Tomato - 2 medium-sized
  5. Capsicum- 1 medium-sized
  6. Chopped ginger-garlic - 1 tbsp
  7. Frozen/Fresh green peas - 1/2 cup
  8. Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  9. Pav bhaji masala powder - 1 tsp
  10. Red chili powder - 1/2 tsp
  11. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  12. Cumin seed - 1/2 tsp
  13. Oil - 5 tbsp
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Chopped coriander leaves - 4 tbsp
  16. Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  1. At first, cook the basmati rice and keep it aside.
  2. Now boil and chop the potato and set them aside.
  3. Then, heat a pan and add oil, let it heat well.
  4. Once the oil is heat then add cumin seed, chopped ginger, and garlic. Saute for a few seconds.
  5. After that, add chopped onion and capsicum and fry them for 2 min on medium flame.
  6. Then add boiled potato and chopped tomato, add salt to taste.
  7. Mix it well and fry them for 1 min on medium flame.
  8. Now add frozen green peas and stir it well.
  9. After that, add garam masala powder along with red chili powder, turmeric powder, and pav bhaji masala.
  10. Mix it well. Cover and cook it for 2 min on medium flame.
  11. Now open the lid and give a nice stir.
  12. Then add cooked rice and salt to taste, mix it well.
  13. Cover and cook for 5 min on medium to low heat.
  14. After 5 min opens the lid and adds chopped coriander leaves and lemon juice. Mix it well.
  15. Now turns off the flame and serve it with raita.
