  1. Fish - (5 pc)
  2. Mustard seed paste -(2 tbsp)
  3. Green chilli paste -(1 tsp)
  4. Turmeric Powder -(2 tsp)
  5. Nigella seed/Black cumin seed -(1/3 tsp
  6. .Salt to taste
  7. Mustard oil -(1 tbsp)
  8. Cooking oil -(5 tbsp)
  9. Water
  10. Green chilli (split)- 3
Method:
  1. Clean the fish well then wash it under running water.
  2. Now add turmeric powder and salt into the fish and marinate it well.
  3. Add mustard seed and green chilli in a bowl, add some water and soak it for 10 min.
  4. Then put it into a grinding jar and make a fine paste. keep it aside.
  5. Heat sufficient oil in a pan.
  6. Once the oil heated well the add fish one by one and fry each side for 2 to 3 min on medium to high flame.
  7. After frying the fish take out from the pan and keep it aside.
  8. Add some nigella seed into the same oil, saute for few second.
  9. Then add grounded mustard seed paste along with salt to taste and turmeric powder.
  10. Mix it well. Fry it for 1 min on low flame.
  11. After that, add required water and stir it well, boil it for 2 min on medium flame.
  12. Now add fried fish and slit green chillies, cover it for 2 min on medium flame.
  13. After 2 min opens the lid and checks it once.
  14. Now spread some raw mustard oil, turns off the flame and serve it with steamed rice.
